Hi!…I'm Renata Jansen!… I live in Cheshire, England with my husband and daughter….art has always been a huge part of my life from the time I was able to draw…..I studied textile design at college and worked as a designer for 12 years. Once I found the world of ooak sculpture there was no looking back!….I have been sculpting faeries and figurines full time for 3 years and that's all I EVER want to do for the rest of my life!!…I hope I never master this art and spend my life learning something new each day!!! I sculpt my figures from fimo polymer clay over a galvanised wire armature…their hands are sculpted over an armature too. I get my clay and viscose hair from Fairytasia's store on ebay…… The mohair I use is shorn and does not come on a pelt which is something I personally prefer…its from a farm in Australia…… I get most of my fabrics, fantasy film and beads from morezmore!…everything you could want for ooak sculpture under one virtual roof!… My figurines are sold on ebay to people all over the world….I package them very carefully as they often have to travel far! They are tied into a foam 'bed' to avoid all movement during the shipping process….. then double boxed for maximum protection! Thank you very much for visiting my site!! Renata xX |
